Sophie Dupuis is a Canadian film director and screenwriter, who studied at Concordia University and the Université du Québec à Montréal. Her feature film debut Family First (2018) was selected as Canada’s submission for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards. Her second feature was Underground (2020). Her third, Solo (2023), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Canadian Film.
