KARLA MARI-REJ FAĐONATO / CARLA MARIE-REY FAGGIONATO
After graduating law, passionate film enthusiast Carla-Marie Rey Faggionato began producing films with her company in 2019. Her first project, Prince of the Seas, showcases her love for nature and exploration. It is a 53-minute animated film that narrates the life of the adventurous Prince Albert I of Monaco as a scientific explorer. The film incorporates rare archival footage of the Principality and the 1900 Paris World Fair to add a temporal dimension. Additionally, Faggionato's company produced a series of video recordings titled “A city, a disc”, which poetically explores Mediterranean cities through recordings and original life stories.
