BRUNO DIMON / BRUNO DUMONT
Bruno Dumont (1958) directed his debut feature film at the age of thirty-eight - Life of Jesus (1997) was selected for the Director’s Fortnight at Cannes and winning a Caméra d'Or Special Mention. His feature films Humanity (1999) and Flanders (2006) both won the Grand Prize of the Jury at Cannes while Slack Bay (2016) and, most recently, the satire France (2021), also screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. A road movie Twenty-nine Palms (2003) was selected for the Venice Mostra. His biopic Camille Claudel 1915 (2013) was invited to the Berlinale Competition.
