To the great joy of all film lovers, this year FEST returns to its favorite place - Sava Centre. Just for this occasion, from 1 to 3 March, the Sava Centre created the Main Congress Hall with asetting that most closely matches that of a cinema with 350 seats (which are not numbered).
Tickets for these screenings can be purchased online at tickets.rs. The entrance to the screenings held in the Sava Centre is from Milentija Popovića Street (the entrance is marked with the name Sava Centar Congress).Film list and ticket link: https://tickets.rs/tour/fest_2024_1285?CurrentPage=1&filter=IDVenue:3#fpoint
‘Just as the Palais des Festivals, today the Palace of Festivals and Congresses, used to be synonymous with the Cannes Festival, or the Palazzo del Cinema with the Venice Festival, so for many, FEST is unimaginable without the Sava Centre. We are looking forward to hosting FEST again this year in the specially renovated Main Congress Hall. Together with all the faithful visitors of the oldest film festival in our country, we eagerly await the screenings of the films in the Blue Hall, the renovation of which will be completed in September this year. Until then, with this year's screenings, we have created a space for a select audience and the greatest fans of
FEST in the Sava Centre,’ said Kristina Milinčić, general director of the Sava Centre.
‘Next year in the Blue Hall of the Sava Centre,’ said Jugoslav Pantelić, artistic director of FEST. ‘Of course, FEST is coming back to Sava Centre, it is a festival venue, as is the MTS Hall. Some immediately associate Sava Centre with FEST. However, I love both venues and think that both venues are festival spaces and that they are FEST,’ said Pantelić.
Film lovers will be able to enjoy screenings of the most attractive film titles for which tickets are already in demand in the specially adapted Main Congress Hall: Woody Allen's ‘Coup de Chance’ (Stroke of Luck), Roman Polanski's ‘The Palace’, Andrew Haigh's ‘All of Us Strangers’, 'The Taste of Things'; (La passion de Dodin Bouffant) starring Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel (Cannes Festival Award for Best Director), ‘Anatomy of a Fall’ (Anatomie d'une chute) by Justine Triet (Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film and Screenplay and Palme d’Or at Cannes), ‘The Promised Land’ (Bastarden) starring Mads Mikkelsen (three European Film Awards - best actor, photography, costume).
