Radivoje Bukvić

Radivoje Bukvic was born in 1979. in Sombor, Serbia. During his studies of Dramatic Arts, he acted on various Belgrade scenes. In 2005. for the first time he played in Franch movie La Californie (2006). This opportunity was crutial for him. Film was nominated at Cannes Film Festival in Certain regard selection, and Radivoje was noticed by the audience. This success was followed by several offers from Parisian artistic agencies and soon he received a new offer from EuropaCorp and Luc Besson for the movie Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson as a leading role. Only a few weeks later he was nominated for the prestigious French film Academy award Cesar, in the selection of a Best upcoming actor of French film. European film industry door was opened in front of a young artist and his popularity in this world begins to grow. In the years to come, Radivoje received offers for numeruos movies: Largo Winch (2008), Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009) Beloved (2011), Goodbye Morocco (2012)… In 2010 at Berlinale, he achieved cooperation with the casting agency “Das Imperium”. Rasha’s German agent propose him in 2012. for leading villain role in the movie A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) where he played with Bruce Willis. After this film, the “Management 360” from L. A. offered him a representation for American market. In 2013 he moved from France to California, and played in Run All Night (2015), The Transporter Refueled (2015) and Our Kind of Traitor (2016). In 2018 he returned to Serbia to play the leading role in Besa, TV series created by Tony Jordan. Radivoje lives between Belgrade and Paris at present. He played and plays in many Serbian films and TV series.
