Minerva Pictures is an independent company based in Rome, active in the cinematic, audiovisual, and multimedia sector since 1953, operating in the production and distribution of films, TV series, documentaries, digital channels, and content in Italy and abroad.

With over seventy years of history, the company is one of the main independent global operators in the exploitation and digital distribution of audiovisual content. The catalog ranges from classics and cult films that marked an era to some of the most significant works of contemporary independent cinema. In its digital distribution activity, it now aggregates a catalog of about 7,000 titles divided by genre and language.

Among Minerva Pictures’ most recent productions are L’orto americano by Pupi Avati (in official selection at the Venice Film Festival), Miss Fallaci (8×52, Paramount+’s first Italian original, coproduced with Paramount), Reading Lolita in Tehran by Eran Riklis (Rome Film Fest – Special Jury Prize), Ciao bambino by Edgardo Pistone (Rome Film Fest – Best Debut Film, David di Donatello nominee), Addio al nubilato by Francesco Apolloni (in the top three most-watched films on Prime Video), Ora tocca a noi: storia di Pio La Torre by Walter Veltroni (Rome Film Fest), Mondocane (in competition at the Venice International Film Critics’ Week), Per amor vostro by Giuseppe M. Gaudino (Venice Film Festival – Volpi Cup for Valeria Golino), and Hammamet by Gianni Amelio.
